Ground Score Association

Peer led initiative of informal recyclers, canners, dumpster divers and other environmental workers who create and fill low-barrier waste management jobs in Portland. Job opportunities at the warehouse, with secure personal storage available. Also run The People’s Depot under the Morrison Bridge, a beverage container redemption center exchange that allows up to 400 aluminum cans, plastic, glass beverage containers per person per day for Oregon’s 10 cent deposit.

Employment and education support for youth ages 18-24. Services include GED tutoring and testing for everyone ages 18-24. For youth who have been screened into the Homeless Youth Continuum, additional supports include college admission and financial aid assistance, career coaching admission and financial aid assistance, career coaching and exploration, Job Readiness Training, work placements, internships and more.

Non-residential, year round school that provides free high school diploma, GED and training for Medical Administrative Assistant and office administration for women and men ages 16-24.
